One of the greatest things about Kona is that there are a number of local farmers markets that sell local produce, meats, cheese, and crafts. You should definitely check then out!

Keauhou Farmers Market
Every Saturday 8:00 am to 12:00 noon
Keauhou Shooping Center
The closest and probably the best. Try the breakfast at a couple of spots here. You'll love it

Ho'oulu Comminity Farmers Market
Every Wednesday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Sheraton Keauhou-Kona Resort
Incredible crafts, some of the best in Kona. Good coffee and food.

South Kona Green Market
Every Sunday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm

Probably the best selection of organic products and produce.

Kona Farmers Market
Wednesday through Sunday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Downtown Kona

Wonderful array of vendors, lots of organic, very homey with that local Waimea vibe and people.

Waimea Homestead Farmers Market
Saturday 7:00 am to 12:00 noon

Local food artisans and crafts. Definitely worth a look.

Kamuela Farmers Market
Saturday 7:00 am to 12:00 noon

Offering fresh locally grown produce, trees, plants, cut flowers, a variety of prepared foods.

Waimea Midweek Farmers Market
Wednesday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm

There are other Farmers Markets on the Island, but these are the ones we recommend.

You can also find other Farmers Markets in Waikoloa Village, Hawi, Hilo, Honokaa, Puna and on the road to the Volcano. Some of the same vendors that work the ones listed above also work the Waikoloa markets.
